Fulham Palace is a hidden gem that has excellent transport links. It is free to visit and is a wonderful treasure. The buildings are beautifully maintained and the exhibitions are carefully curated. I took my grandson who enjoyed the wide range of activities provided. The cafe is excellent and all the staff provide a warm welcome. Outside the extensive gardens are delightful. There is a woodland play area at the side of the palace and a range of traditional playgrounds at the front of the palace. An amazing place to- highly recommended.

Very interesting way to spend 2 hours free entry. You are encouraged to make a donation, buy from the shop, or eat in the cafe, which was good, recommended

Une expérience inégale Une entrée prometteuse… mais une suite décevante Points Positifs : L’expérience débute sur une note féerique. Les artisans présents apportent une vraie chaleur humaine, avec une convivialité appréciable. La chanteuse ajoute une belle ambiance musicale, et la fée perchée sur ses échasses est un véritable enchantement visuel. Ces éléments donnent un excellent coup d’envoi à la visite. Organisation : Arrivés à 16h30, nous apprenons sur place que le sentier n’ouvre qu’à 17h. Ce genre d’information essentielle aurait dû être clairement indiqué sur le site ou sur les billets. Une meilleure communication aurait évité cette attente inutile. Le Sentier : Si le début du parcours émerveille par des installations lumineuses soignées, le reste peine à maintenir le niveau. Plus on avance, plus les espaces semblent vides, laissant une impression d’inachevé. Pour un sentier lumineux, on s’attend à une immersion constante et à des surprises à chaque étape, ce qui n’est malheureusement pas le cas ici. Manque de Magie : L’absence d’un Santa Claus lumineux ou d’une installation phare marquante est une vraie déception. Cela aurait été une touche finale parfaite pour renforcer le thème et laisser une impression durable. Rapport Qualité-Prix : À 14,95£ par personne, le tarif est élevé pour une expérience aussi inconstante. D’autant plus que les rues de Londres ou des quartiers comme Kingston, décorés pour les fêtes, offrent souvent une ambiance tout aussi magique, voire meilleure, et gratuitement. Y reviendrais-je ? Non. Si l’idée initiale est séduisante, le manque de constance et de magie tout au long du parcours ne justifie ni le prix, ni le déplacement.

I might change this but as of this date, 19th December 2024 until the 15th January 2025, the palace museum, shop and cafe are closed. All should reopen on the 16th January 2025.

On the palace grounds there is a café serving food and drinks, as well as a shop where you can buy souvenirs and books. Events are held regularly, including exhibitions, lectures and family events.

We went to see the lighting show this year at Fulham Palace. It was wonderful. The palace garden is huge and beautiful.

Christmas at fulham palace was good .Was expecting a light show but was disappointed but a well spent evening .
